It was an awesome day for me and Working Well Together yesterday. Stepping out into the world as a new business can be both exciting and scary after living with the stability of a regular career. I am finding the scary side is tempered, by exciting small steps forward as seeds planted start to sprout.
My training session, Building Resilience to Workplace Bullying, was held in conjunction with the Community Housing Federation of Victoria. The evaluation feedback score was 97% which was an awesome outcome. However, the highlight for me was the comment that it was great to do a workplace bullying session that focused on managing and supporting people, not just systems, that really hit home.
At the end of the day, preventing and managing workplace bullying is about keeping people safe. A mutual benefit is saving businesses time and money. Two concepts that do work well together!
